ALEAH MONTANO has been performing on Albuquerque’s community stages for many years. Her first love is musical theater, and she has been blessed to play some iconic roles with this company including Marian (The Music Man), Rosemary (How to Succeed…) and most recently Martha Cratchit. Aleah has also performed with the Vortex as Titania (Midsommer Night’s Dream), Lady MacBeth (The Scottish Play) Katherina (Taming of the Shrew) and Regan (King Lear). Other favorite roles include Anna (Burn This) at the Aux Dog Theater, and Mynx/Hope/Jill in the world premiere of Mynx and Savage for AACT’s new works festival. AVERY ROSS has loved music and theater all her life. She has been singing since she was 10 years old and is now a classically trained singer. She mostly performs classical solos but enjoys acting and directing as well. One of her favorite roles was “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast, Jr. at Sandia Prep. She would like to thank the cast and crew for all the hard work and encouragement.

BARBI CAPPEL is very happy to be back on the Landmark stage alongside her husband, Dave. She is a musical theater veteran and former dance teacher who has appeared in shows for Landmark Musicals and ACLOA and has sung with local musical groups for longer than she’d like to admit. She is hoping to spend more time on stage now that she has retired and wishes everyone a wonderful holiday. Here’s hoping for a REAL White Christmas!

BRYNLYN LOOMIS has been seen on stage in numerous roles with favorites including Jenny, Big Fish (MTS), K.C, My Favorite Year (Adobe Theatre) and featured dancer in Rock of Ages (MTS) in which she was also the pole and chair dancing choreographer. Most recently, Brynlyn’s choreography was last seen in Little Shop of Horrors (HAP). DAVID CAPPEL has been on stage all his life, just not as an actor until recently. He has been a choral singer for 60 years and an accomplished trumpet/cornet, flugelhorn, piccolo, and pocket trumpet player along the way with an affiliation to the Presbyterian church over some of that time. He has sung in civic and church choirs and collaborative work with the local New Mexico Philharmonic. David has sung under Alice Parker, Brad Elingboe, Matthew Greer, David Feldberg, David Poole, with “de Profundis” for 27 years. Suffices to say, music has been, and will always be, a big part of his life. We love Laurie.

DENISE MOEDL is thrilled to be a part of her first production with Landmark Musicals. Favorite theater (ACLOA) credits include: Peter Pan, Chicago, West Side Story, and 42nd Street. Denise enjoys dancing at Fishback Studio of the Dance and working as an Occupational Therapist in the Albuquerque community. EDDIE DETHLEFS was last seen as Maj Metcalf in the Abobe Theater’s production of The Mousetrap. Recently he has been in Miracle on 34^th Street, Spamalot, Pride and Prejudice, Deathtrap, Black Coffee, Sister Act, Mary Poppins, The Importance of Being Earnest, South Pacific, and And Then There Were None. He has performed in and directed a number of shows for Foul Play Café such as Elaine Whalesand the Mummy of King Khufu and Murder at Café Noir.

Eddie plays Snoring Man, Ezekiel Foster, and is in the ensemble in White Christmas.

GIACOMO ZAFARANO began singing and acting at a young age through in-school music and drama programs and counts Gene Kelly, Bugs Bunny, and the singing Warner Brothers frog as some of his earliest influencers into the performing arts. Last seen with Landmark Musicals as Paul in their 2015 production of A Chorus Line, Giacomo is excited to again work with the great production team from Landmark and all the many talented performers in the show.

GINTA KATZ is proud to be back into live theater at Landmark. White Christmas will be her fifth musical with this wonderful company that never fails to bring quality music, dance, and uplifting stories to the Albuquerque stage.

HANNAH LILLY is a senior at Sandia Prep and has been doing theater for many years. She has been in almost every production at Sandia Prep since she was in sixth grade and many others. She would like to thank her friends and family for all they do for her, along with the cast and crew for all of their hard work on White Christmas!

JESSICA LAYMAN, born in Texas City, Texas, is an accomplished dance instructor at Fishback Studio of the Dance. She started with ballet at the age of three then moved to New Mexico at the age of four, having her main training begin with Fishback Studio of the Dance by the age of nine and continuing with multiple genres of dance. She has performed in numerous productions such as: The Nutcracker, Billy the Kid, Alice in Wonderland, and her favorite being a Landmark Production of A Chorus Line in 2015! She has choreographed numerous overall and high score competition awards and enjoys kayaking in her free time.

KEVIN WADE is excited to participate in his first production with Landmark Musicals, though he has been involved in musical theater and vocal performance since 2006. He feels honored to be part of Landmark’s return to the stage this winter and can’t imagine a better cast and crew to bring this timeless classic to life!

KIT TURPEN is so excited to be performing together with his wife, Toni, for the first time in 42 years. Toni and Kit met performing “Oklahoma” at Fort Lewis College in Durango. Three children and three grandchildren later, they still love all things musical and performing together will be an old-made-new thrill. Kit has been acting in local theatre productions for the past 40 years, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof, Aida, A Christmas Carol, and South Pacific. Kit would like to dedicate this performance to his mother, Vicki, who has been in the audience for every performance over his entire life, radiating love and encouragement for a lifetime.

Lou Becker is absolutely thrilled to be making his Landmark Musicals debut and to be working again with Laurie and Louie (after just a few years…). He has performed in many musicals and operas including La Cage Aux Folles, Sweet Charity, Lil’ Abner, The Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago The Flying Dutchman, Tales of Hoffman, and The Grand Duchess and has many film and tv credits including La La Land, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Veep, Dear White People, Wet Hot American Summer, The Muppets, and Raising Hope.

Lou plays Mike and is in the ensemble in White Christmas.

LUCCA KERKMANS is excited to make her Landmark Musicals debut as Susan Waverly. Previously, Lucca played the Dutch Girl in ALT’s Miracle on 34th Street and was in the ensemble in Albuquerque Academy’s summer performance of Frozen, Jr. She also studies piano under Olga Tikhovidova. Lucca wants to thank the cast and crew of White Christmas for welcoming her so warmly into the Landmark family, and she feels incredibly lucky to learn from everyone involved.

Michelle Bunzel, PT WCC AHCC is a Physical Therapist and part-owner of Corus Homecare & Hospice. She has performed in several local productions, most recently as Ghost of Christmas Past/Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol at ALT 2021, and Morgan Fairchild in Trevor at The Vortex 2022. She also enjoys singing with Shine quartet, Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus, and Rio A Cappella. She would like to thank her husband and two great kids for their support, and the White Christmas production team for giving her the opportunity to perform in her first show with Landmark Musicals!

NANCE SAINT JOHN is excited that live theater is back! She is delighted to be a part of this amazing cast and production team! It is quite satisfying to be portraying a human again, though Nana and the Crocodile (Peter Pan) and Mama Bear (Shrek) were great fun, too. When Nance is off-stage, she can be found quilting or taunting fellow tennis players with jokes and silly songs. Thanks to family and friends for their wonderful love and support.

RICK WILKERSON is excited to return to the stage with Landmark Musicals for this holiday classic.  He made his debut in the 2016 performance of Peter Pan playing the pirate, Starkey.  He wishes to thank his family and friends for their support and encouragement.

RON GALLEGOS is ecstatic to be joining his first show with Landmark Musicals! You may have seen Ron perform in a few shows at MTS and ALT. Favorite role is Gomez Addams in Addams Family. He is a graduate of Point Park University with a BA in Musical Theatre and has performed regionally across the U.S. Ron sends all the love and thanks to ALL his family and friends for the continuous support and love.

SEAN MARTINEZ is excited to be a part of White Christmas. Over the past few years, he has performed in many shows across Albuquerque including: Fiddler on the Roof, Peter Pan and A Christmas Carol. TONI TURPEN has been in Albuquerque for 38 years and is in awe to be onstage in this particular building, where dazzling and strong actresses have created Albuquerque’s rich theater past.  She is grateful to be part of the Ensemble, directed theatrically and musically by Laurie and Darby.

WENDY BARKER is excited to be back on the stage with Landmark Musicals and this stellar cast and crew. She has either performed in or choreographed over 10 shows with Landmark. Some favorites are Side By Side By Sondheim, Fiddler on the Roof, and A Chorus Line. Wendy is so happy to share her love of Musical Theatre with her husband, Zane, and amazing kids, Nick and Molly, and with you.

ZOEY REESE is known at Landmark for her roles as Peter in Peter Pan, Louise in Gypsy, and Maria in The Sound of Music. Other recent stage credits include, Oleanna (The Vortex), Steel Magnolias (ALT), Our Town (Mother Road Theatre), The Seven (FUSION Theatre Co). Film/TV credits include “The Hire,” “Better Call Saul,” and her voice over work on the series “Radiation World” and “Martian Shore.” Zoey is represented in NM by The O’Agency.

DARBY FEGAN (Resident Music Director) has been the music director/conductor for 150 musicals and operas over the last 30 years, with Fegan joining Landmark Musicals in 2014. Fegan is the former Associate Music Director for Opera Southwest, as well as a former faculty member of UNM, and NMHU. Since 1999, Fegan has been a faculty member at Sandia Preparatory School, where he has served as choral director, music director for the music theater program, as well as Chair of Performing Arts. Since 2000, Fegan has also served as Chair of Performing Arts for the “Think Summer!” program at Albuquerque Academy. Fegan is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he received his master’s degree in Piano Performance, and where he was the recipient of a Meadows Dean three year fellowship. Fegan remains active as a recitialist and musical collaborator, as well as maintaining a private studio for piano and voice.

LAURIE FINNEGAN (Resident Director) has directed several productions for Landmark Musicals over the years; The Fantasticks, Carousel, My Fair Lady, Peter Pan, A Christmas Carol (2018) to name a few. While she thoroughly enjoys directing, particularly large casts with children, she is most well known for her acting and singing. Laurie has performed professionally across the country and locally at several of the theaters in Albuquerque.

Laurie is an aficionado of Sondheim musicals. She has performed in: A Little Night Music (Petra), Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), Into the Woods (Witch), and Side by Side by Sondheim and Putting it Together. Although Laurie has performed numerous leading roles such as Mama Rose in Gypsy, Anna in The King and I, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Guinevere in Camelot, Aldonza in The Man of La Mancha, and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, she is perhaps best remembered for her portrayal of Patsy Cline in A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, which she reprised for Landmark in 2021. “It is an honor and a privilege to play Patsy Cline, to sing her songs, to tell her story.”

In addition to acting, singing and directing, Laurie is also a performing arts educator. She teaches classes in acting, auditioning, vocal production, and musical theater.

Laurie dedicates this production to her husband, Michael P. Finnegan, in loving memory.

COURTNEY GIANNINI (Resident Choreographer) is a native New Mexican and has been dancing for 26 years. She has competed in numerous competitions around the country and has won several national awards. Courtney is currently a member of Festival Ballet Albuquerque and has danced the role of the dew drop fairy and the lead in Fandango. She also choreographs for Landmark Musicals with her husband Louis. For Landmark, she has danced in Carousel, A Chorus Line and Peter Pan. She coaches the dance team at Sandia Prep. Courtney thanks her husband and her two boys, Lucca and Hudson, for all their love and support.

LOUIS GIANNINI (Executive Director/Resident Choreographer) joined Landmark as a choreographer in 2010 for The Fantasticks and since then has been heavily involved with this wonderful company. Louis has danced in Albuquerque with Festival Ballet Albuquerque, Ballet Repertory Theater, New Mexico Ballet and Keshet. He has been seen in featured roles in The Nutcracker the title role in Billy the Kid and Jonathan Harker in Dracula. He has been in and choreographed numerous shows with Musical Southwest, and the Adobe Theater. He is the middle school theater director, dance director, Summer Prep theater director and the theater facilities manager at Sandia Prep. He thanks his beautiful and talented wife and his two boys for all their love and support.

DAHL DELU (Set Designer) has designed sets and costumes for the Tyrone Guthrie Theater, the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Lincoln Center, Broadway, off-Broadway, and the Minneapolis Children’s Theatre. He also spent 20 years designing TV shows like CHEERS, FRESH PRINCE, DIFF’RENT STROKES, FACTS OF LIFE, SILVER SPOONS and received two EMMYS. White Christmas will be his 22nd musical for Landmark Musicals. He is currently designing costumes and sets for LE COMTE ORY for Opera Southwest to open in February.

NINA DORRANCE (Prop Designer) is delighted to be working with Landmark Musicals after a long pandemic hiatus. Her recent credits include Pelleas et Melisande (Opera Southwest), Hay Fever (West End Productions), Unnecessary Farce (The Adobe), References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot (The Vortex), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (ALT), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (MTS), and Carrie: The Musical (MTS).

JOEL P. MCKENZIE (Lighting Designer) This is his third production with Landmark Musicals; his previous two were Oliver and A Christmas Carol! He relocated to Orlando, FL to work on projects with SeaWorld and Universal Orlando. He also served as Interim Technical Director in North Carolina, where he oversaw the construction of the 2021-22 season and designed the set for Murder on the Orient Express. I hope you have a good time watching the show!

RALEIGH MEGOFNA (Assistant Music Director) is hyped to be working alongside Mr. Darby Fegan as assistant music director! They are a high school senior at Sandia Preparatory School and in the Performing Arts Intensive class. White Christmas is their third musical and they have been singing chorally since they were eight years old! They also play acoustic guitar and piano. They thank their amazing theater teacher for giving them this opportunity to be a part of White Christmas!

CORA MONTOYA (Assistant Stage Manager) is a Senior at Sandia Prep. She has done tons of shows leading up to her senior year and is excited for White Christmas to be her first ever musical outside of Sandia Prep. She would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their hard work and dedication!

ERIN MOOTS (Costume Designer) is delighted to team up with Landmark Musicals once again! Recently, she semi-retired from teaching theater & design and loves being able to get back to design and construction for a production. She divides her time living in NM, OR, and on a ship periodically with her sweetheart, Kelly, exploring the world…..and, of course, buying fabrics, fabrics, fabrics!

CHAD SCHEER (Sound Designer) has a long list of musical events that he has both designed and mixed. He enjoys playing his upright bass and spending time with Zoikes!, his pandemic puppy.

GAYLE SMART (Wardrobe Manager) has been working with the local theater community since 2000 in many capacities: from set building, curtain making, and as a backstage dresser, to a fascination with the costumes and creation of pieces that go on stage. Gayle has sewn for many years and had a business creating specialized outdoor gear. Gayle has assisted creation of many costume sets including Oliver!, La Cage au Folles and designed costumes for A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline for Landmark Musicals in 2021.

KANDY THORN (Hair Designer) has been the hair and wig designer for a myriad of musicals in Albuquerque since before the turn of the century. She has designed for ACLOA, MTS, and she loves that she has been working with Landmark Musicals for the last several years. She is the owner and a stylist at I Catchers Salon in the NE Heights of Albuquerque.

MARILYN LAFER (Makeup Design) has been doing Theatrical makeup since 1979; the first was with ACLOA/MTS. Before that, she was an accountant and Realtor but is now retired and having too much fun! She would like to thank Myra and Bob Cochnar and now Louis Giannini, for inviting her to be the resident makeup artist for all of the Landmark Musicals and hopes to continue.

MICHELE CAPPEL (Hair Design Assistant) has had an eclectic career path including teacher, lawyer, federal government contractor, and data analyst. One of the many wonderful things that came her way after moving from New Orleans to New Mexico 24 years ago was a request from her longtime friend, Kandy Thorn, to help her with doing hair for MTS in 2002. They joined Landmark, and she is grateful for the opportunity to  return to the theatre experience.  Thanks, Kandy!
