LANA MELENDRES-GROVES was excited to join her four children on stage for A Christmas Carol. She spends her time in the hospital as a pulmonary physician or on the soccer field coaching or playing but for eight performances, she is delighted to step into the world of this tremendous musical. She has her husband, mother and, of course, her amazing kids to thank for this experience.
LARRY JOSEPH AGUILAR has performed in or choreographed more than 60 musicals including, as a performer, Mamma Mia, Cats, Chicago, West Side Story, Kiss Me Kate, A Chorus Line, Brigadoon, Funny Girl, Bobby, The Boyfriend, 42nd Street, The Wizard of Oz, White Christmas and Singin’ in the Rain. He has choreographed West Side Story, The Wizard of Oz, Anything Goes, Roar of the Greasepaint……The Producers, Little Shop of Horrors, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Pippin, Hairspray, Chicago, Cabaret, Xanadu, 9 to 5, Sweet Charity, Barnum, Singin’ in the Rain, White Christmas, Evita and more. And this time he’s a 61-year-old Cagelle! Not bad.
LATASHA WHITMORE is a graduate of Messiah College with a B.A. in theater. She’s a recent arrival to Albuquerque and has been described in Broadway- World.com as “one of those performers who can deliver emotion in the raising of an arm or in the turning of her head..” She has appeared in Hairspray. Aida, Ragtime, Ain’t Misbehavin, Moses, Seussical Legally Blonde and Spamalot. For her Scott!
LAURA NUZUM is thrilled to be performing with Landmark Musicals and her father-in-law! She has been seen in over 40 shows and has stage-managed over 10. Most recently she was seen as Chiffon in MTS’s Little Shop of Horrors. She was stage manager for ABQ Stage’s Once on This Island. Laura graduated from UNM with a degree in music and film. By day she is a supervisor for Southwest Airlines. Much thanks and love to Tim for his continued support.
LAURIE FINNEGAN (Resident Director) has directed several productions for Landmark Musicals over the years; The Fantasticks, Carousel, My Fair Lady, Peter Pan, A Christmas Carol (2018) to name a few. While she thoroughly enjoys directing, particularly large casts with children, she is most well known for her acting and singing. Laurie has performed professionally across the country and locally at several of the theaters in Albuquerque.
Laurie is an aficionado of Sondheim musicals. She has performed in: A Little Night Music (Petra), Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), Into the Woods (Witch), and Side by Side by Sondheim and Putting it Together. Although Laurie has performed numerous leading roles such as Mama Rose in Gypsy, Anna in The King and I, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Guinevere in Camelot, Aldonza in The Man of La Mancha, and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, she is perhaps best remembered for her portrayal of Patsy Cline in A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, which she reprised for Landmark in 2021. “It is an honor and a privilege to play Patsy Cline, to sing her songs, to tell her story.”
In addition to acting, singing and directing, Laurie is also a performing arts educator. She teaches classes in acting, auditioning, vocal production, and musical theater.
Laurie dedicates this production to her husband, Michael P. Finnegan, in loving memory.
LEAH COOPER was seen on stage in Landmark’s Oliver! as well as ALT’s 2009 production of White Christmas. She has also worked backstage for ALT and the PLAY Conservatory dealing with hair and makeup. In real life, she is a stylist at Salon Phoenix. She thanks all the wonderful people who worked in, on, and around Older!, her parents, and Jesse.
LEAH TUTTLE was seen in Landmark’s productions of Anything Goes and A Little Night Music, as well as the MTS production of Oklahoma! She has also appeared in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Dracula the Musical, and Little Women. She has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and works at Sandia Labs. Her voice coach is Delreen Hafenrichter who she’d like to thank as well as her husband, family, and friends for their support.
LEEDY CORBIN is thrilled to be performing with Landmark Musicals! Her local theater credits include productions with Santa Fe Opera, Cardboard Playhouse, New Mexico Philharmonic, PLAY Conservatory, FUSION, and Vortex Theater/Shakespeare on the Plaza, and she is a current member of the Young Voices of the Santa Fe Opera. A proud SAG-AFTRA member, Leedy can be seen in the Disney movie Lemonade Mouth (Georgie), Hallmark Hall of Fame’s Beyond the Blackboard (Becca), and NBC’s The Night Shift (Abby Maynor).
LEONARD HUGHES studied musical theater at UNM. At UNM, he has been seen in Zanna Don’t, Lonestar, Laundry & Bourbon, Broadway Your Way, and Gross Indecency: the 3 Trials of Oscar Wilde.
LES ELMER performed in a couple of unknown plays in high school, sang in a high school mixed chorus and quartet, a traveling male chorus in college, and an Air Force chorus. He has been singing baritone with the New MexiChords since 1986 as well as with two quartets. Les is a retired Air Force fighter pilot who also flew for several years as a commercial pilot.
LESLEE RICHARDS directed Talley’s Folly at the Adobe Theater. She also serves as president of the Vortex Theater. When not at the theater, she manages the family business, Lieber’s Luggage. Thanks to all the ladies and to Mayor “Bruce” Shinn for the good times and thanks to Frank and Mom for making everything possible.
LESLIE JACKSON is delighted to be part of the ensemble in this exciting Landmark production. A Christmas Carol is her third endeavor into the world of musical theater and she continues to enjoy entertaining on stage. When not dancing at Fezziwig’s Annual Christmas Ball, Leslie teaches math and science, plays the guitar and spends time with her family, whom she thanks for their continued support. She hopes you enjoy the show!
LILEE ZAPATKA has acted in the school plays at Sunset Mesa School starting in third grade, sung in the choir and participated in 2018 All State Choir. She is an active member of the Albuquerque Academy Chamber singers and Mastersingers. Her creative spirit goes beyond performing on stage or at concerts. She spends time drawing, writing her own songs and singing along to them, teaching herself how to read music and play the piano.
LILY KING is a fourth-grade student at Placitas Elementary School. In 2011, Lily sang a solo in the school’s production of The Robot and the Bluebird. She played Peter Pan in the ABQ Stages’ production of Shrek: The Musical. She also studies at Ballet Repertory Theatre and New Mexico School of Music. She loves to write, draw, paint, build Legos, watch Star Wars, and swim.
LINDSAY BALDWIN HAFENRICHTER is excited to be back on stage with Landmark Musicals. She was most recently seen in FCT’s Songs for a New World and as Rose in MTS’s The Secret Garden. She would like to thank her voice teacher, Delreen, her beautiful children, and her patient and caring husband for all their love and support. Sending a big congrats and break a leg to the cast! Philppians 4:13.
LISA FENSTERMACHER is a graduate of UNM and has been acting in the Albuquerque community for over 20 years. Her recent performances include: Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Laura in Aux Dog’s Goblin Market, Sylvie in the Vortex’s The Nance, Mrs. Braddock in Aux Dog’s The Graduate, Mole in Aux Dog’s The Wind and the Willows and Sister Hubert in Nunsense, Mazeppa in Landmark’s Gypsy, Desert Rose’s production of Beautiful Bodies and Mama Won’t Fly at the North 4th Theater, and Seven at a Swat with Fusion Theater Company.
LOGAN LASHER has been involved in theater since the fourth grade. Some of his previous roles include the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man and Schroeder. He played Friedrich in the Landmark production of The Sound of Music. He also loves working backstage. Other passions include bowling and songwriting. He thanks Louie Giannini, who has been working with him since the sixth grade at Sandia Prep, and his family for their continued encouragement and support.
LOGAN MITCHELL has been dancing for many years. He is trained in ballet, tap, jazz and modern at the Marshall Performing Arts Conservatory and has been active in musical theater since the age of 4. Some favorite roles include Jojo (Seussical the Musical for MTS), Chip (Beauty and the Beast for MTS), Young Frog (Frog and Toad for The Growing Stage), and the Elephant’s Child (Just So at the Interlochen Arts Camp.)
LOGAN SCOTT MITCHELL is thrilled to be a part of this production. Regional credits: Dean/Dance Captain in All Shook Up(Ivoryton Playhouse), My Fair Lady (Phoenix Symphony), Spamalot, La Cage aux Folles (Chantal), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, White Christmas and Pippin (Phoenix Theatre). Logan currently calls New York his home. Infinite gratitude to his mother, who pushed him to follow his dreams, but never made him wear a cow head while doing it.
LORRI OLIVER has performed recently as Linda Loman in Death of a Salesman; Queen Elizabeth in Richard Ill; Josie in Moon for the Misbegotten; Noleta in Sordid Lives and Harriet Piper in The Hatpin. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and her film and television credits include: Longmire, Breaking Bad, Sex And Lies In Sin City, Not Forgotten, The Lost Room and Five Dollars A Day.
Lou Becker is absolutely thrilled to be making his Landmark Musicals debut and to be working again with Laurie and Louie (after just a few years…). He has performed in many musicals and operas including La Cage Aux Folles, Sweet Charity, Lil’ Abner, The Wizard of Oz, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago The Flying Dutchman, Tales of Hoffman, and The Grand Duchess and has many film and tv credits including La La Land, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Veep, Dear White People, Wet Hot American Summer, The Muppets, and Raising Hope.
Lou plays Mike and is in the ensemble in White Christmas.
LOUIS GIANNINI (Executive Director/Resident Choreographer) joined Landmark as a choreographer in 2010 for The Fantasticks and since then has been heavily involved with this wonderful company. Louis has danced in Albuquerque with Festival Ballet Albuquerque, Ballet Repertory Theater, New Mexico Ballet and Keshet. He has been seen in featured roles in The Nutcracker the title role in Billy the Kid and Jonathan Harker in Dracula. He has been in and choreographed numerous shows with Musical Southwest, and the Adobe Theater. He is the middle school theater director, dance director, Summer Prep theater director and the theater facilities manager at Sandia Prep. He thanks his beautiful and talented wife and his two boys for all their love and support.
LOUISE LOOMIS teaches music at Sunset Mesa School and conducts the Bel Canto Chorus, a part of the New Mexico Symphonic Youth Chorus Program. She always loves Landmark shows, whether viewed from the stage, the audience, or backstage.
LUCCA KERKMANS is excited to make her Landmark Musicals debut as Susan Waverly. Previously, Lucca played the Dutch Girl in ALT’s Miracle on 34th Street and was in the ensemble in Albuquerque Academy’s summer performance of Frozen, Jr. She also studies piano under Olga Tikhovidova. Lucca wants to thank the cast and crew of White Christmas for welcoming her so warmly into the Landmark family, and she feels incredibly lucky to learn from everyone involved.
