SHOW SYNOPSIS

Inspired by several Grimm Brothers’ fairy tales:  Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine have brilliantly written a fairy tale/fantasy show intertwining these tales with characters who are searching, wishing, wanting. “Do you know what you wish?  Are you certain what you wish is what you want?”  Characters struggle with their wishes, their family connections and the consequences of their actions.  The show is touching, funny, dark at times and has a message for us all.
